Congestion of all mucous membranes including bowels, stomach, and airways. Affects bones, fibrous tissues, kidneys, heart, and liver. Nasal catarrh. Rheumatism. Gastritis, sinusitis, stomach ulcers, nephritis, cirrhosis. Anemia. General weakness bordering on paralysis. Mucous membranes everywhere are affected. Catarrh of pharynx, larynx, bronchi, and nose; a tough, stringy, viscid secretion is produced, which condition is a very strong guiding symptom for this drug.
